Estou a ficar uma máquina!
Vejam só a minha produção de hoje de tarde. Não está linda? Quatro horinhas e voilá!
Até parece mal estar tão "babada" com o meu trabalho mas compreendam-me, esta é minha terceira carteira e ainda não estou habituada a que me saia tudo tão direitinho. Este modelo tirei-o daqui.
A alça não se vê na foto mas é do mesmo tecido da barra e por dentro é forrada e tem um bolsinho também às florzinhas.

I know,I know it is not very polite to be so happy with my own work but try to understand me, it's my third bag. I only took four hours, everything went very well and I'm very glad! I took the pattern from here

Acabei a carteira da minha filha e tal como prometi ,aqui estou eu a mostrá-la.

Acho que ficou mais bonita ao vivo do que nas fotos. Que acham?

Sinceramente fiquei muito contente com o resultado, correu tudo muito bem e ficou muito perfeitinha. Preferia umas asas brancas ou verdes mas, acreditem ou não, corri o Porto e Matosinhos e não encontrei nada de jeito. Estas vieram duma retrosaria perto de uma vila. Quem diria hem?

Espero que a minha filha goste dela, vou mandar-lha pelo correio lá para o meio do Atlântico.

I've finished my daughter bag and as I promissed I'm showing it.

I'm very glad with the result but I think it looks better live than in photos. I will prefer the white or green handles but I didn't find them here in O'Porto.

I hope that my daughter likes it also. Now I will send her the purse by mail to the middle of the Atlantic, where she is.

NEW PROJECT

This will be a bag for my daughter. For now I'm doing some embroidery.

BAG

Mais um projecto acabado, para o « One project a month challenge». Esta é uma carteira que eu fiz para oferecer a uma amiga minha. São tecidos que eu comprei à noussnouss e podem ver aqui. Como não tinha nenhum molde, foi tudo a "olhómetro" e meio inventado. Sim, que nestas coisas acho que já nada é completamente original. Tal como na cozinha, o que conta é mais a forma como se recria!
Não tenho muita experiência nestas coisas, só tinha feito um saco para o desafio da Linda, podem ver aqui. Sim, sim, tenho tendência para os azuis...até no futebol!
Acho que a minha amiga gostou e... a intenção é que conta!

Another project finished ( UFO) to the « One project a month challenge». This is a bag that I did to a friend of mine.
It is made with fabrics that I've bought to noussnouss and you can see here. I've made it without a pattern, it's a bag invented by me enought in this matter, as in the kitchen, there is no big things to invent, it's more the way how we recreates things!
I'm not very experient in bags, I only had made one to Linda Swap, that you can see here. Any way, I think that my friend liked it...and what matter it's the intention.

MY BAG HAS ARRIVED

Não me digam que não foi a propósito a postagem de ontem!
Hoje chegou mais uma encomenda da minha swap partner no Linda's Bag. É a Kristin da Austrália e fez este lindíssimo saco para mim, primorosamente bordado e cheio de fuchicos. Como se fosse pouco ainda me ofereceu uma revista, dois cortes de tecido, uma caixa de chocolates ( huuum, são danados de bons) e um amável postal. Obrigada Kristin!
Já vos tinha dito, estes swaps são engraçados!

The postman just arrived with a package. You can't imagine what a excitement here at home. My daughter said to me to open it but I was with the camera to take photos and saying: it's from Australia, it's from Australia!

Finnaly I open it and ... Aaaah! Ooooh!

I've already seen it and thought to myself " How beautiful, I wouldn't mind to have this one...but with my lucky, I've no chance! "

Here we call "fuchico" to suffolk puffs. And I've seen the evolution of this work in the blog of Kristin! Yes, my swap partner is Kristin from Australia.
And have you see the wonderful embroiderie in the top of the bag? It's a similar pattern to the fabric inside the bag

Finalmente decidi-me pelos tecidos com que vou confeccionar o saco para o desafio da Linda. Vai ser o primeiro saco que vou fazer, vamos lá a ver como me saio...eu realmente meto-me em cada uma!

Finnaly, I've decided what fabrics I will use in Linda bag swap. It's my first bag...we will see what I will be able to do...

SACO NOVO

Apaixono-me pelas cores e texturas das coisas. Quando vou às compras tenho que estar sempre atenta porque, muitas vezes, acabo por comprar o que não preciso só pelo prazer de usufruir de determinada combinação de cores. Apesar de ter uma tendência acentuada para os azuis, o que me "toca" mesmo é a diferença e por isso as outras cores vêm também.
Isto tudo para vos mostrar um saco que, pelas suas cores, vai alegrar o meu Verão, nem que não o use na rua, pelo menos para guardar os meus trabalhos e deliciar a vista! Foi fotografado ao pôr do sol, as cores são mais vibrantes. Não é giro?

NEW BAG
I fall in love with the colours and textures of things. When I go shopping I have to be carefull, because, many times, I bought things that I don’t really need, just for the pleasure of using certain combination of colours! Although I have a tendency for the “blues”, what really touches me is the difference and contrast, so the other colours end up to come with me.
This is just to show you the bag that, because of its colours, is going to shine up my summer. Even if I don’t use it to go out, at least it’s useful to put my works in and to delite my sights! It was photographed at sunset, so the colours are more vibrant. Isn´t it lovely?
